1 Think about the worst day of your life. How do you feel now?

The first step to building mental strength isn’t necessarily about doing something. Rather, it’s about thinking about the worst day of your life. Now, this doesn’t have to be an actual  ”bad” day. It could be a bed dream or a terrible event from your past that still has an emotional impact on you. Rather than thinking about the actual day, take some time to think about how you feel in your body when you remember than day? Are your muscles tense? Do certain thought come up again and again? Are there are any images or sounds that are difficult for you to deal with? when you begin to open up to how this event makes you feel, you can begin to let it go. you may not be able to change the day itself, but you’ll have a much easier time dealing with your memories of that day. And it will give you more mental strength in the present moment.

2 Write a gratitude journal every night

Writing a gratitude journal is an awesome way of building mental strength. Everyone has something to be grateful for, but very often our thought get in the way and prevent us from seeing it. if you want to feel more gratitude on a regular basis, start by writing down 3 things very night before bed. It doesn’t matter if they’re big or small-just make sure that you’re focusing on the positive. As with any new habit, it can feel a little weird at first. But as you start to cultivate more gratitude, your life will undoubtedly improve.

3 Spend 30 minutes a day doing something that makes you happy

The might seem obvious, but it’s more than just about ”happiness.” Spending 30 minutes a day doing something that brings you joy is not only important for your mental fortitude, but also your overall health. When we do things that make us happy, our brain releases serotonin and dopamine-two chemicals that help boost our moods. It’s important to take time for your mental health even if it’s something small like watching TV or reading a good book.

4 Teach yourself how to meditate

There are many reasons why people might want to learn how to meditate. Some do it for better concentration, some do it for better sleep, some do it to feel more grounded. Whatever the reason may be, Everyone should know hoe meditate since it provides a different way to cope with unpleasant circumstance. Meditating doesn’t have to be complicated; it simply means focusing  your attention on one thing go the exclusion of all  else. Sit in a comfortable position with your back straight. Focus on one of your senses-it could be the sound of people talking, the feeling of air passing through your nostrils, or the sensation of your hands touching each other. Once you’ve narrowed down which sense you’d like to focus on, begin to lengthen and deepen your breath. you don’t need to worry about meditating for hours and hours. Even 5 minutes is better than nothing!

5 Spend time with people you love 

When you spend time with the people we love, we instantly feel happier. Not only dose spending time with other give us a break from our thoughts, but it also encourages us to be more social. As we’ve talked about before, mental strength isn’t just about what you do it’s about who you surround yourself with. When you spend time with people you love, you’ll feel better almost immediately-and it will give your brain the energy it needs to bounce back from difficult times.

6. Dismiss negative thoughts like they are old friends 

Negative thoughts are like old friends; sometimes they come back even when we want them to leave. Rather than fighting these thoughts or trying to ignore them, simply dismiss them. You can say something out loud of you need to (although it’s not necessary) that acknowledges the thought but also tells yourself that it’s not true. For example, of you have a difficult day at work and your mind is telling you that you’re not good enough,  it m ight be helpful to say something along the lines of “My job isn’t always going to be easy, but l can do this.”

7. Exercise regularly

Exercise releases endorphins into our bodies. This makes us happier and more positive. It’s easy to talk ourselves out of exercising because we might not feel like it or we don’t have the time, but we shouldn’t let that prevent us from working out. Studies show that even if our workout is only 10 minutes long, those endorphins will stay in our system for hours!

8. Watch motivational videos on Youtube before you start your work. 

Sometimes, it’s hard to feel motivated when you’re staring at blank computer screen. Watching a video that inspires you before staring your work can change the way you feel about what you’re doing and help bring positivity into your life. That’s where motivational videos come in! They’re short-not even 5 minutes long-but they give us helpful advice on how to achieve our goals and be the best versions of ourselves.

9. Take time for yourself every day

Spending time every day doing what’s going to make you happy is an important step in self-care. Not only does it reduce the effects of stress, but it also gives you a chance to recharge your batteries and do something that will help improve your mental health overall. It’s easy to put off taking time for ourselves because we have so many other things to do. But of you can find 5 minutes to be alone, it could make a huge difference in your life.

10. Don’t fear mistakes 

We’ve  all made mistakes before. But rather than letting it hold us back, we should embrace the fact that everyone makes mistakes. This will allow you to learn from them quicker and become better at what you do! People are usually harder on themselves than they should be. You can’t become successful by worrying about mistakes-you have to learn from them and move forward!
